Hadith #50067
On the authority of Abu Qatada, he said: A man said: O Messenger of God, what do you think that if I were killed in the cause of God, patient and seeking reward, coming forward and not retreating, God would expiate my sins from me? The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Yes.” When he turned around, he called him and said: “Yes, except for debt. That is what Gabriel said.”
