Hadith #50903
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ الصَّائِمِ الْقَائِمِ الْقَانِتِ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَا يَفْتُرُ مِنْ صِيَامٍ وَلَا صَلَاةٍ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ»
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The example of a person who strives in the cause of God is like the example of a fasting person, one who is obedient to the verses of God and does not falter.” Of fasting and no prayer until the mujahid returns in the path of God.”
