Hadith #50904
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «انْتَدَبَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَا يُخْرِجُهُ إِلَّا إِيمَانٌ بِي وَتَصْدِيقٌ بِرُسُلِي أَنْ أَرْجِعَهُ بِمَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَغَنِيمَةٍ أَوْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ»
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God has appointed a mandate for whoever sets out on His path. He will not get rid of it except by faith in Me and belief in My Messengers.” That I return him with the reward and spoils he obtained, or admit him into Paradise.”
