Hadith #50952
وَعَن أم حرَام عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمَائِدُ فِي الْبَحْرِ الَّذِي يُصِيبُهُ الْقَيْءُ لَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَالْغَرِيقُ لَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدَيْنِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Umm Haram, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “A person lying at sea who is affected by vomiting has the reward of a martyr, and a drowning person has the reward of two witnesses.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
