Hadith #49404
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يقُلْ: اللهُمَّ اغفِرْ لي إِنْ شِئتَ ارْحمْني إِنْ شِئْتَ ارْزُقْنِي إِنْ شِئْتَ وَلِيَعْزِمْ مَسْأَلَتَهُ إِنَّه يفعلُ مَا يَشَاء وَلَا مكره لَهُ ". رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“When one of you supplicates, let him not say: O God, forgive me if You will, have mercy on me if You will, provide for me if You will.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari
