وَعَن ابنِ عُمر قَالَ: بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَحَاصَ النَّاسُ حَيْصَةً فَأَتَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَاخْتَفَيْنَا بِهَا وَقُلْنَا: هَلَكْنَا ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُول الله نَحن الفارون. قَالَ: «بَلْ أَنْتُمُ الْعَكَّارُونَ وَأَنَا فِئَتُكُمْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ. وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ نَحْوَهُ وَقَالَ: «لَا بَلْ أَنْتُمُ الْعَكَّارُونَ» قَالَ: فَدَنَوْنَا فَقَبَّلْنَا يَده فَقَالَ: «أَنا فِئَة من الْمُسْلِمِينَ»
On the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: We sent the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in a expedition, and the people searched for a moment, then we came to Medina, hid ourselves there, and said: We are perished. Then we came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: O Messenger of God, we are fleeing. He said: “Rather, you are the Akkarun.” And I am your group.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi. In the narration of Abu Dawud, something similar happened and he said: “No, but you are the ‘Akkarun.” He said: So they approached us and we kissed his hand, and he said: “I am a group of Muslims.”
