وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُجَالِدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: قُلْتُ: هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تُخَمِّسُونَ الطَّعَامَ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: أَصَبْنَا طَعَامًا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ فَيَأْخُذُ مِنْهُ مقدارَ مَا يكفيهِ ثمَّ ينْصَرف. وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Muhammad ibn Abi al-Mujalid, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, he said: I said: Did you use a fifth of food during the era of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace? Peace be upon him? He said: We received food on the Day of Khaybar, and a man would come and take from it what was sufficient for him and then leave. It was narrated by Abu Dawud
