وَعَنْ أَبِي مَطَرٍ قَالَ: إِنْ عَلِيًّا اشْتَرَى ثَوْبًا بِثَلَاثَةِ دَرَاهِمَ فَلَمَّا لَبِسَهُ قَالَ: «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي رَزَقَنِي مِنَ الرِّيَاشِ مَا أَتَجَمَّلُ بِهِ فِي الناسِ وأُواري بِهِ عورتي» ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُول. رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
On the authority of Abu Matar, he said: Ali bought a dress for three dirhams, and when he wore it, he said: “Praise be to God who has given me feathers with which I can beautify myself.” people and hide my private parts therewith.” Then he said: This is what I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say. Narrated by Ahmed
