Hadith #51476
On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, took a ring of gold. According to one narration: He put it on his right hand and then He threw it, then took a paper ring on which was engraved: Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and said: “No one should inscribe the inscription of this ring of mine.” And when he wore it, he would make the middle of it from the place next to the inside of his hand.
