وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَوِيلَ الصَّمْتِ. رَوَاهُ فِي «شرح السّنة»
On the authority of Jabir bin Samurah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was silent for a long time. Narrated in “Explanation of the Sunnah”
