Hadith #51479
And on the authority of Anas that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to write to Chosroes, Caesar, and the Negus, and it was said: They do not accept a letter except With a ring, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, fashioned a seal, a silver ring, on which was engraved: Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Narrated by Muslim. And in a narration by Al-Bukhari: The inscription on the ring was three lines: Muhammad is a line, the Messenger of God is a line, and God is a line.
