Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51576
Hadith #51576
On the authority of Ibn al-Musayyab, he was heard saying: “Indeed, God is good and loves the good. He is clean and loves cleanliness. He is generous and loves generosity. He is generous and loves generosity. So cleanse him, I see him. He said: Have you exhausted yourself, and do not imitate the Jews? He said: So I mentioned that to Muhajireen Mismar, and he said: It was narrated to me by Amir bin Saad, on the authority of his father, on the authority of the Prophet. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, except that he said: “Clean your courtyards.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
