Hadith #51587
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُول: «كُلُّ مُصَوِّرٍ فِي النَّارِ يُجْعَلُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ صُورَةٍ صَوَّرَهَا نَفْسًا فَيُعَذِّبُهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ» . قَالَ ابْن عَبَّاس: فَإِن كنت لابد فَاعِلًا فَاصْنَعِ الشَّجَرَ وَمَا لَا رُوحَ فِيهِ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saying: “Every person who creates something in the Fire will have a soul assigned to him for every image he has created, and He will torture him.” In hell. Ibn Abbas said: If you must do something, then make the tree and that which has no soul in it.
