Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51779

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If the fay is taken as money, the trust is taken as spoils, and the zakat is taken as a sum... And he taught something other than the religion, and the man obeyed his wife and was disobedient to his mother, and treated his friend closest to him and estranged his father, and voices appeared in the mosques. And the immoral one ruled the tribe, and the leader of the people was the most degrading of them, and the man was honored for fear of his evil, and sermons and harps appeared, and alcohol was drunk, and another was cursed. This nation was the beginning of it, so look for at that time a red wind, an earthquake, an eclipse, a deformation, a slander, and signs that follow as a system.
