Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #50443

On the authority of Abu Salamah: Salman bin Sakhr, also known as Salama bin Sakhr Al-Bayadhi, made his wife watch over him like his mother’s back until Ramadan passed. When Half of Ramadan passed and it happened at night, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came and mentioned it to him, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him: May God bless him and grant him peace: “Free a slave.” He said: I cannot find one. He said: “Fast for two consecutive months.” He said: “I cannot.” He said: “Feed sixty.” Poor person. He said: I do not find anything. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Farwa bin Amr: “Give him that sweat” while he was taking a lump sum. Five Ten saa's or sixteen saa's "to feed sixty poor people." Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
