وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَكُونُ اخْتِلَافٌ عِنْدَ مَوْتِ خَلِيفَةٍ فَيَخْرُجُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ هَارِبًا إِلى مكةَ فيأتيه الناسُ من أهل مَكَّة فيخرجوه وَهُوَ كَارِه فيبايعونه بَين الرُّكْن وَالْمقَام يبْعَث إِلَيْهِ بَعْثٌ مِنَ الشَّامِ فَيُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَإِذَا رَأَى النَّاسُ ذَلِكَ أَتَاهُ أَبْدَالُ الشَّامِ وَعَصَائِبُ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ فَيُبَايِعُونَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْشَأُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَخْوَالُهُ كَلْبٌ فَيَبْعَثُ إِلَيْهِمْ بَعْثًا فَيَظْهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَذَلِكَ بَعَثُ كلب وَيعْمل النَّاسِ بِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّهِمْ وَيُلْقِي الْإِسْلَامُ بِجِرَانِهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَلْبَثُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ يُتَوَفَّى وَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ الْمُسلمُونَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Umm Salamah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “There will be a dispute when a caliph dies, and a man from the people of Medina will flee to... Mecca, then people from the people of Mecca come to him and expel him, and he is unwilling, so they pledge allegiance to him between the Rukn and the Maqam. A delegation from the Levant is sent to him, and he is defeated by them. In Al-Bayda, between Mecca and Medina, when the people see that, Abdal Al-Sham and Asaib Ahl Al-Iraq will come to him and pledge allegiance to him, then he will arise. A man from Quraysh whose uncles are a dog, so he sends a group to them and they defeat them. That is the sending of a dog, and the people act according to the Sunnah of their Prophet and throw Islam takes hold of it on earth, and it remains for seven years, then it dies and the Muslims pray over it.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
