Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51900

On the authority of The people on the Day of Resurrection is the day when the people will rise up before the Lord of the Worlds and the sun will set, and they will be overcome with grief and distress such that they cannot bear. He will say: People, do you not look for someone to intercede for you before your Lord? Then they come to Adam. He mentioned the hadith of intercession and said: “So I will go and come under the Throne and fall prostrating to my Lord, then God will bestow upon me one of His praises and praise Him.” Something he had not revealed to anyone before me. Then he said, O Muhammad, raise your head. Ask and you will be granted him, and intercede and you will be granted intercession. So I raise my head and say: My nation, O Lord. My nation, O Lord. Then it will be said, O Muhammad, enter from the gate those from your nation against whom there is no reckoning. “The right-hand side is one of the gates of Paradise, and they are partners with people in all other gates.” Then he said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, what “Between the two gates of Paradise is like the distance between Mecca and Hajra.” agreed
