وَعَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّي فَخَيَّرَنِي بَيْنَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ نِصْفَ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ وَبَيْنَ الشَّفَاعَةِ فَاخْتَرْتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ وَهِيَ لِمَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Awf bin Malik, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “He came to me from my Lord, and he gave me a choice between letting half of my nation enter.” Paradise and intercession, so I chose intercession, which is for one who dies not associating anything with God.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah
