Hadith #52406
On the authority of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: “The polytheists would not depart from Mina until the sun had risen, and they would say: ‘Shine forth, Thabir!’ The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) differed from them, and then departed before the sun had risen.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari. 1- Thabir: with a fatha on the first letter and a kasra on the second, is a well-known mountain to the left of the one going to Mina, and it is the greatest of the mountains of Mecca. 2- Authentic. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (1684), on the authority of Amr ibn Maymun, who said: I witnessed Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) pray the morning prayer at Jama’, then he stood and said: He mentioned it.
