Hadith #52454
وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: {
On the authority of Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “No one should judge between two people while he is angry.” Agreed upon. 1.1 - Authentic. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (7158) and Muslim (1717) on the authority of Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah, who said: My father wrote—and I wrote to him—to Ubaydullah ibn Abi Bakrah, who was a judge in Sijistan: Do not judge (Al-Bukhari: Do not pass judgment) between two people while you are angry, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: and he mentioned it. The wording is from Muslim, and in Al-Bukhari it is: “Do not pass judgment,” and the rest is the same.
Narrated by
Abu Bakrah (RA)
