وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لاَ يُبْغِضُ الأَنْصَارَ رَجُلٌ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ " .
Narrated by Hasan al-Hulwānī: He said: “I heard Shabābah say: ‘Abd ul-Quddūs used to tell us, saying: “Suwayd bin Aqalah said…” [when it should have been ‘bin Ghafalah’].’ Shabābah said: ‘And I heard Abd ul-Quddūs say: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade taking a Rawḥ by accident.”’ [Shabābah] said: ‘He was asked: “What does that mean?”’ [Abd ul-Quddūs] replied: “It means making an opening in a wall to let in a breeze by accident.”’ [He changed the original hadith, replacing ‘Rūḥ’ (soul) with ‘Rawḥ’ (breeze), and ‘Gharaḍān’ (as a target) with ‘Arḍān’ (by accident), simply by changing a few letters.] Muslim said: “I heard Ubayd Allah bin Umar al-Qawārīrī say, I heard Hammād bin Zayd say to a man after he had been with Mahdī bin Hilāl for days: ‘What is this salty well [i.e., useless or harmful] that has gushed forth toward you?’ He replied: ‘Yes, O Abā Ismā’īl [nodding in agreement].’”

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id Khudri that the Messenger of Allah observed
