Ali bin Abdullah told us, he said: Al-Mugheerah bin Salamah Abu Hisham Al-Makhzoumi told us, and he was trustworthy, he said: Al-Sa’q bin Hazn told us. He said: Al-Qasim bin Mutayyab told me, on the authority of Al-Hasan Al-Basri, on the authority of Qais bin Asim Al-Saadi, who said: I came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: This is the master of the people of righteousness. So I said: O Messenger of God, what is the wealth for which I do not have to pay any liability from a seeker or from a guest? So he said. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: What good wealth is forty, and the most is sixty, and woe to those who have a hundred, except for the one who gives generous things. And he brought forth abundant benefactors and slaughtered the fat ones, and he ate and fed the contented and the poor. I said: O Messenger of God, how noble are these manners. It is not permissible for me to live in a valley. In which are My many blessings? He said: How do you deal with the gift? I said: I give to the firstborn, and I give to the youngest. He said: How? Is it done in the free-range? He said: I will give the camel away. He said: How is it done in the streets? He said: People go out in the morning with their ropes, and not a man is swayed from the ropes. A camel snatched him, and he held him as long as he wanted, until he drove him back. Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Why is it that I love Is it yours or the wealth of your masters? He said: My wealth. He said: Yours is only what you ate and used up, or you gave and spent, and the rest of it. To your master, so I said: No offense, if I return I will reduce its number. When death approached him, he gathered his sons and said: O my sons, take it from me. For you will not take from anyone who is more sincere to you than I am: Do not mourn over me, for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was not mourned over him, and I heard the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. God, upon him be peace, forbids wailing, and shroud me in the clothes in which I used to pray, and blacken the elders of you, for if you If you lord it over your elders, your father will still have a caliph among you. And if you lord it over your younger ones, your elders will be indifferent to the people, and they will abstain from you and improve your lives. For there is no need for people to ask for it, and beware of begging, for it is the last thing a person earns, and if you bury me, be unfair to me. My grave, for there was something going on between me and this neighborhood of Bakr bin Wael: Khamashat, so no fool is safe from doing something that would harm you. A flaw in your religion

Musa bin Ismail told us, he said: Yahya bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asri told us, he said: Shihab bin Abbad Al-Asri told us, that Some of the delegation of Abdul Qais heard him mention, and he said: When we began to come to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, we walked, until when we were close to... When we arrived, we met a man sitting on his seat. He greeted us, and we responded to him. Then he stood up and said: Who are the people? We said: The delegation of Abd al-Qays. He said: Welcome and welcome. I asked for it. I came to give you good news. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to us yesterday: He saw To the East, and he said: They will come from this direction tomorrow, meaning: the East, the best delegation of the Arabs, so I continued to evade until the morning, So I mounted my saddle, and continued on my way until the day rose, and I was about to return. Then I raised the heads of your mounts, then he mounted his saddle. With its reins, he returned, placing his harpoon at the beginning, until he reached the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions around him, the Muhajireen and Ansar, and he said: By my father and mother, I came to bring you good news of the delegation of Abdul Qais. He said: How can you get them, O Umar? He said: They are loyal to me. They were shaded, so he mentioned that and said: May God give you good news, and the people prepared themselves in their seats, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sitting, so he threw the tail His robe was under his hand, so he leaned on it and spread his legs. Then the delegation came, and the Muhajireen and Ansar were happy with them, and when they saw The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and his companions rejoiced with their passengers, and they quickly came forward, so the people moved forward, while the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was reclining as he was, so he fell behind. Al-Ashjaj, who is: Mundhir bin Aidh bin Mundhir bin Al-Harith bin Al-Numan bin Ziyad bin Asr, so he gathered Then he set it down, put down its loads, and gathered its belongings, then he took out a garment of his, threw off his travel clothes, and put on a robe, then he came He walked slowly, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Who is your master, your leader, and the person in charge of your affairs? So they all pointed to him. He said: This is the son of your masters? They said: His fathers were our masters in pre-Islamic times, and he is our leader to Islam. When the turmoil ended, he wanted to To sit on one side. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sat down and said: Here, O Ashjaj. And that was the first day that was called Al-Ashajaj. Today, a donkey struck him with its hoof while he was weaned, and his face was like the moon, so he made him sit on his side, and was gentle with him, and recognized His grace over them, so the people came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, asking him and telling them, until after the hadith he said: Is there anyone with you? Did I provide you with anything? They said: Yes, so they quickly got up, each man of his weight, and they brought palms of dates on their palms, and they were placed on a flat surface. In his hands, and between his hands, was a newspaper below the arms and above the arm, so he used to be brief with it, rarely leaving it, so he gestured to it. To Sabra of those dates, he said: Do you call this Al-Taddud? They said: Yes, he said: And you call this Al-Sarafan? They said: Yes, And you call this barani? They said: Yes. He said: It is the best of your dates and the most beneficial to you. And some of the sheikhs of the neighborhood said: It is the greatest. A blessing. We only had fertile land which we fed our camels and donkeys, so when we returned from that mission of ours, our desire for it was great. We spread it until our fruits became fruitful from it, and we saw the blessing in it.

Who is this man? They say that he claims that God sent him and revealed to him, or that God revealed such-and-such. So I used to memorize those words, as if they were tempting me in my chest, and the Arabs used to blame me. With their conversion to Islam, they say, “Leave him and his people, for if he appears over them, then he is a true prophet.” When the event of the conquest occurred, everyone hastened My people converted to Islam, and my father hastened to convert my people to Islam. When he came, he said, “By God, I have come to you truly from the Prophet.” He said, “Pray with prayer.” Such-and-such, at such-and-such a time, and they prayed such-and-such prayer at such-and-such a time. When the time for prayer comes, let one of you call the call to prayer, and let the one who has the most recited Qur’an lead you in prayer. They looked, but there was no one with the most recited Qur’an. From me when I was receiving from the riders, and they brought me before them when I was six or seven years old, and I was wearing a cloak. When I prostrated, she shrank from me, and a woman from the neighborhood said, “Will you not cover us for us?” So they bought and cut a shirt for me, and I was not happy with anything.
