Abdul Razzaq told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abdullah bin Abi Thawr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him. About them, he said: I am still keen to ask Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, about the two women from the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. upon him and grant him peace, to which God Almighty said {If you repent to God, indeed your hearts have been willing} until Omar performed Hajj, may God be pleased with him, and I performed Hajj with him. When Somehow, Omar, may God be pleased with him, made peace with him, and I treated him well, and he defecated, then he came to me, and I poured water on him. His hands, and he performed ablution, and I said, O Commander of the Faithful, which of the two women from the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to whom God Almighty said {If you repent To God, indeed your hearts have been willing.} Then Omar, may God be pleased with him, said, “And you are amazed, O Ibn Abbas.” Al-Zuhri said he hated By God, he did not ask him about it and did not conceal it from him. He said, “It is Hafsa and Aisha.” Then he began narrating the hadith. He said, “We were a group of Quraysh.” We are a people who are dominated by women. When we came to Medina, we found a people who were dominated by their women. So our women began to learn from their women. He said, and it was My house is in Bani Umayyah bin Zayd in Al-Awali. He said, “One day I became angry with my wife and she was checking with me. She refused to check with me, so she said, ‘What? You deny that I should take you back. By God, the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, will take back his wife, and one of them will leave him until today. Night, he said, so I set off and went to Hafsa and said, “Will one of you go back to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?” She said, “Yes.” I said, “Will one of you abandon him?” From today until the night, she said, “Yes.” I said, “Whoever among you did that has been disappointed and has lost. Is one of you safe from the wrath of God?” against her due to the wrath of his Messenger. If she is killed, do not go back to the Messenger of God, and do not ask him anything, and ask me whatever you wish, and he will not deceive you if it is. Your neighbor is more handsome and beloved to the Messenger of God than you. He wants Aisha, may God be pleased with her. He said, “I had a neighbor from the Ansar, and we were We take turns going down to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he comes down one day, and I come down another day, and he brings me news of the revelation and other things, and I come to him. Likewise, he said, and we were talking, that Ghassan was shoeing horses to attack us, so my friend came down one day, then he came to me in the evening, and he knocked on my door, then He called me, so I went out to him and said, “A great matter has happened.” I said, “What did she bring to me?” Ghassan said, “No, even greater than that and longer.” The Messenger divorced his wives. So I said, Hafsa has been disappointed and lost. I was thinking this would happen until when I prayed the Fajr prayer, I pulled on my clothes, then I came down and entered. over Hafsa while she was crying, so I said, “Should the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, divorce you?” She said, “I do not know. Is this one secluding himself in this place?” So I came to a black boy, and I said, Ask permission for Omar, and the boy entered and then came out to me and said, I mentioned you to him, so he remained silent and I left. Until I came to the pulpit, and suddenly a group of people were sitting there, some of them crying. I sat for a while, then I was overcome by what I felt, so I went to the boy and said, “Seek permission.” To Omar, then the boy came in, then he came out to me and said, “I mentioned you to him,” so he remained silent, so I went out and sat at the pulpit, and then what I found overwhelmed me. So I came to the boy and said, Ask permission for Omar. He entered and then came out to me and said, “I mentioned you to him.” So he remained silent, so I turned away, and behold, the boy was calling for me. He said Enter, he has given you permission, so I entered and greeted the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and lo, he was reclining on a sand mat. Ya`qub told us in a Salih hadith. He said, “The sand of Hasir affected his side, so I said, ‘O Messenger of God, have you divorced your wives?’” He raised his head to me and said, “No.” So I said, “God is great, if you saw us, O Messenger of God, and we, a group of Quraysh, were a people who defeated women.” When we came to Medina, We found a people whose women prevailed over them, so our women began to learn from their women. Then I became angry with my wife one day, and behold, she was making excuses for me. She refused to consult with me, so she said, “Why do you deny that I should consult with you? By God, the wives of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, are going to review it.” And one of them is abandoning him today until nightfall, so I said: Whoever among them did that has been disappointed and lost. Is one of them safe from the wrath of God? against her due to the anger of his Messenger, and when she died, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, smiled, and I said, O Messenger of God, so I entered upon Hafsa. So I said, “Do not be deceived if your neighbor is more handsome and more beloved to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, than you.” Then another woman smiled, so I said, “I will take it easy.” O Messenger of God, he said, yes, so I sat down and raised my head in the house, and by God, I did not see anything in it that would restore sight except for a dullness. Three times, so I said, “Pray, O Messenger of God, for it to be extended to your nation, as it has been extended to Persia and the Romans, and they do not worship God.” So he sat up and sat down, then said Do you have any doubt, O Ibn Al-Khattab? These are a people for whom their good deeds were hastened in the life of this world. So I said, “Ask forgiveness for me, O Messenger.” By God, he had sworn not to spend a month with them because of the severity of his feelings towards them, until God Almighty rebuked him.

He said to him, “Who are you?” He said, “From the people of Oman.” He said, “Yes,” he said. So he took his hand and brought it to Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, and he said. This is one of the people of the land that I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: I know of a land called Oman that is draining. Nearby is the sea, and there is a neighborhood of Arabs. If my messenger had come to them, they would not have shot him with an arrow or a stone.

Abdul Rahman narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abaya bin Rifa’ah, he said, Omar, may God be pleased with him, reported that Sa’d had built The palace said, “The sound had stopped,” so Muhammad ibn Maslamah sent to him. When he arrived, he took out his spear, put out his fire, and bought firewood for a dirham. And it was said to Saad that a man did such-and-such, and that person, Muhammad bin Maslamah, said, so he went out to him, and he swore by God what he said, and he said, “We will pay for you what he said.” You say that, and we will do what we are commanded to do. So he burned the door, then he approached and offered to provide him with food, but he refused, so he went out and came to Omar Radhi. God bless him, so he migrated to him, and his going and coming back took nineteen days, so he said, “If it were not for the good opinion of you, we would see that you did not spare us.” He said, “Yes.” He sent to say hello and apologize and swear to God. He did not say what he said. He said, “Did he provide you with anything?” He said, “No.” He said, “What prevented you from providing it to me?” He said, “I hate to give you orders so that it will be cold for you and I will be hot, and around me the people of Medina have been killed by hunger, and I heard the Messenger of God.” May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he says: A man is not satisfied without his neighbor.

Ishaq bin Isa al-Tabbaa told us, Malik bin Anas told us, Ibn Shihab told me, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abdullah bin Utba bin Masoud, that Ibn Abbas told him that Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf had returned to his journey. Ibn Abbas said, and I was reciting to Abd al-Rahman. Ben Awf found me waiting for him, in Mina, during the last Hajj that Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, performed. Abdul Rahman ibn Auf: A man came to Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and said: So-and-so said, If Omar had died, may God be pleased with him, I would have pledged allegiance to so-and-so. Then Omar, may God be pleased with him, said, “I will stand in the evening among the people and warn them about these people who want to usurp them. They must do so.” Abdul said. Most Gracious, so I said, O Commander of the Faithful, do not do it, for the season brings together the rabble and mob of people, and it is they who They dominate your gatherings. If you rise among the people, I fear that you will say something that those people will fly away with, but they do not understand it and do not put it in its proper place. But until you approach Medina, it is the home of migration and the Sunnah, and you will find the scholars of the people and their nobles, so you can say what you said with authority. So they help your words and put them in their places. Omar, may God be pleased with him, said: If I bring Medina safe and sound, I will speak to the people about it at the beginning. A place for me to stay. When we came to Medina after Dhul-Hijjah, and it was Friday, spirits hastened the death of the blind man, and I said: By Malik, what did the blind man say that he did not care what time he went out? He did not know the heat or the cold and the like. I found Saeed bin Zaid at The right corner of the pulpit had preceded me, so I sat, his shoes rubbing my knee against his knee, but I did not stand up until Omar, may God be pleased with him, appeared, so when I saw him saying, “Let them say on the evening of this pulpit something that no one had said about him before him.” Sa’id bin Zaid denied that and said, It is impossible for him to say what no one else has said. Then Omar, may God be pleased with him, sat on the pulpit, and when the muezzin remained silent, he rose and praised God. As it is worthy of it. Then he said, “Now then, O people, I am saying something that has been destined for me to say. I do not know. Perhaps it will be in my hands for my sake. Who will He is aware of it and of his mind, let him speak of it wherever his mount has ended, and whoever is not aware of it, it is not permissible for him to lie to me, for God is blessed. And God Almighty sent Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, with the truth and sent down to him the Book, and among the verses of stoning that were revealed to him was the verse of stoning, so we read it and understood it. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stoned us and we stoned him after him. I fear that if people live for a long time, someone will say no. We find the verse about stoning in the Book of God Almighty, so they go astray by abandoning a duty that God Almighty has sent down. Stoning in the Book of God is a duty imposed on one who commits adultery. If the men and women are chaste, when there is evidence, or a rope, or a confession, behold, and indeed we used to read: No Deviate from your fathers, for it is blasphemy for you to deviate from your fathers. Indeed, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Do not flatter me as I am flattered.” Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him. I am only the servant of God, so say, “Abdullah and His Messenger.” It has reached me that someone among you He says: If Omar, may God be pleased with him, had died, I would have pledged allegiance to so-and-so, so let no one be deceived when he says that the pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, was a simple matter. Indeed, it was like that, except that God Almighty protected it from its evil, and there is not among you today anyone whose necks will be cut off like Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, and it was our news when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, died that Ali, Al-Zubayr, and whoever was With them, they remained behind in the house of Fatima, may God be pleased with her, the daughter of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and she left behind us. The Ansar were all in Saqifat Bani Sa`idah, and the emigrants gathered to Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, so I said to him, O Abu Bakr Take us to our brothers from the Ansar, and we set out to follow them until we met two righteous men who mentioned to us what had done to the people, so they said: Where do you want, O group of emigrants? I said, “We want these our brothers from the Ansar.” They said, “No, you must not approach them, and settle your affairs.” O community of emigrants, I said, “By God, we will come to them.” So we set off until we came to them in the Saqifah of Banu Sa’idah, and behold, they were They were gathered, and behold, between their backs was a man with a comb, and I said, “Who is this?” They said, “Saad bin Ubadah.” I said, “What is wrong with him?” They said, “Pain.” When we sat down, he got up. Their preacher praised God Almighty for what he deserved and said, “After that, we are supporters of God Almighty and the Islam Battalion.” And you, O community of emigrants, are a group of us, and a group of you has set out, wanting to disgrace us from our origin and isolate us from the matter. Then when I remained silent. I wanted to speak, and I had falsified an article that I liked. I wanted to say it in the hands of Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him. I used to treat him somewhat harshly, but he was more forgiving and more dignified than me, so Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, said, “Behold your messenger,” so I hated to anger him. He was more knowledgeable than me and more honorable, and by God, he did not leave out a word that I liked in my forgery except that he said it in his intuition and better, until he remained silent and said: After that, whatever good you mentioned, you are the people of it, and the Arabs did not know this matter except for this neighborhood of Quraysh, who are the middle of the Arabs in lineage. He turned around, and I had accepted for you one of these two men, whichever one you wished, and he took me by the hand and by the hand of Abu Ubaidah bin al-Jarrah. I did not dislike any of that. He said something different, but by God, if I were to come forward and have my neck be beheaded, that would not bring me closer to a sin more beloved to me than conspiring against a people among whom is Abu A virgin, may God be pleased with him, except that my soul changed at the time of death, and someone from the Ansar said, “I am its itched root and its roots.” What is expected from us is a prince, and from you is a prince, O people of Quraysh. So I said to Malik, “What is the meaning of ‘I am its textured root and its welcomed roots?’” He said as if to say “I was aware of it,” he said, and the confusion increased and voices rose until I feared disagreement, so I said, “Extend your hand, O Abu Bakr.” So he extended his hand, and I pledged allegiance to him, and the emigrants pledged allegiance to him, then the Ansar pledged allegiance to him, and we marched against Saad bin Ubadah, and someone among them said, “You have killed Sa’d, so I said, “May God kill Sa’d,” and Omar, may God be pleased with him, said, “By God, we did not find, in what we were present, anything stronger than pledging allegiance to my father.” Bakr, may God be pleased with him. We feared that if we separated from the people and there was no pledge of allegiance, that they might make a pledge of allegiance after us, then we would either follow them in a way that we do not approve of. Or we disagree with them, which would result in corruption. Whoever pledges allegiance to a prince without consulting the Muslims, there is no pledge of allegiance to him, and no pledge of allegiance to the one who He pledged allegiance to him at the risk of being killed. Malik said, Ibn Shihab told me on the authority of Urwah ibn al-Zubayr that the two men whom Uwaymir ibn Sa’idah and Ma’an bin Adiy. Ibn Shihab said, and Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab told me that the one who said: “I am its itchy stem and its stalk.” Al-Murjab Al-Hubab bin Al-Mundhir.

Ali bin Ayyash told us, Al-Walid bin Muslim told us, he said, and Al-Awza’i told me, on the authority of Muhammad bin Abdul-Malik bin Marwan, that He told him on the authority of Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, that he entered upon Uthman, may God be pleased with him, while he was besieged, and said, “You are the imam of the people, and you have come down.” As you see, I present to you three characteristics. Either you join the Levant, for they are the people of the Levant and among them is Muawiyah. Othman, may God be pleased with him, said: Either I will go out and fight, for I will not be the first among his nation to succeed the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, by shedding blood. I will go to Mecca, for they will not make it permissible for me to do so, for I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: A man from the Quraysh in Mecca is an atheist. He will suffer half the torment of the world, and I will not be the same. As for me joining the Levant, they are the people of the Levant, and among them are Muawiyah, I will never leave my place of emigration and my neighborhood with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. They were vomiting water. With both of them, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Al-Zubayr, may God be pleased with him, Water and then send to your neighbor. The Ansari got angry and said, The Messenger of God, if he is your cousin. Then the face of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, colored. Then he said to Al-Zubayr, may God be pleased with him. Water on his behalf, then withhold the water until it returns to the wall, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, fulfilled it. At that time, Al-Zubayr had his right, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was satisfied. Before that, he advised Al-Zubayr, may God be pleased with him, with an opinion that he wanted to please him and the Ansari. When Al-Ansari protected the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, granted Al-Zubayr his right to express judgment. He said Urwa, and Al-Zubair, may God be pleased with him, said, By God, I do not think this verse was revealed except for that {But no, by your Lord They will not believe until they make you judge over what they have quarreled among themselves, then they do not find within themselves any embarrassment over what you have decided, and they submit completely.

Muhammad ibn Abbad narrated to us, saying: Hatim ibn Ismail narrated to us, on the authority of Yaqoub ibn Mujahid Abi Hazra, on the authority of Ubadah ibn al-Walid ibn Ubadah ibn al-Samit said: My father and I went out seeking knowledge in this neighborhood of the Ansar, before they were destroyed, and he was the first one we met. Abu Al-Yusr was the companion of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and with him was a servant of his. Abu Al-Yusr wore a cloak and a cloak, and his servant wore a cloak and a cloak. So I said to him: O my uncle, if you took the cloak of your servant and gave him your cloak, or took his cloak and gave him your cloak, it would be You have a burden or a burden on him, so he wiped my head and said: Oh God, bless him, my nephew. These eyes of mine have seen and these ears of mine have heard. My heart was aware of it and pointed to the corners of his heart. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Feed them from what you eat, and clothe them from what you clothe. It was easier for me to give him some of the worldly goods than for him to take from my good deeds on the Day of Resurrection.
