Hadith About Neighbor

He ‌said: ‌The ‌Messenger ‌of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you cook a dish, add more water to it and be mindful of your neighbor. (i.e., always be mindful and careful about sharing it with your neighbor.) [1575]

He ​said ‌that ​an ‌Ansari quarreled with Zubair (RA) in front of the Prophet (PBUH) about the water of Harar's canal which used to irrigate date gardens. Ansari said, Leave the water of the canal, so that it (flows) but Jubair (RA) refused to give it. When the two of them got into a debate about this before the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said to Zubair (RA), O Zubair! Irrigate your land (first). After that Release the water to your neighbor. Ansari was displeased with this and said, he is your cousin. This showed signs of displeasure on the face of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). Then he said, O Yubair! You irrigate your own land do Then hold back the water so that it reaches the dam. (Bukhari Part 42 Chapter 6 Hadith No. 2359; Muslim 43/36 Hah 2357)

On ​the ​authority ​of ​Aisha, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Keeping ties of kinship, good manners, and good neighborliness make homes populate and increases lifespan.”

The ​Messenger ‌of ​Allah ​(may peace be upon him) said, "Gabriel always admonishes me about the neighbor. I even thought that he would make the neighbor an heir." (Bukhari 6014-6015, Muslim no. 6854)

The ​Prophet ​(peace ‌be ​upon him) said, "By the One in Whose Hand is my life! No servant can be a (full) believer until he does for his neighbor or (any) brother what he does for himself." (Muslim No. 180)

The ​Messenger ​of ​Allah ‌(may peace be upon him) said, "He has not believed in me who spends the night satisfied, while his neighbor next to him is hungry, and he knows it." (Bazaar, Tabarani 750, Sahihul Jame No. 5505)

The ​Prophet ​(peace ​and ​blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you want Allah and His Messenger to love you, then return the trust to its owner, speak the truth, and be kind to your neighbor." (Tabarani's Awasat 6517,

The ‌Prophet ‌(peace ‌and ‌blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, two neighbors will be the first to complain." (Ahmad 17372, Tabarani 14252, 14268, Sahih Targhib no. 2557)

On ​the ‌authority ​of ‌Abdullah, he said: A man said, O Messenger of God, which sin is the greatest in the sight of God? He said: That you call upon a rival to God while He created you. He said: Then what? He said: That you kill your son for fear that he will feed with you. He said: Then what? He said: Your neighbor's wife commits adultery, so God Almighty revealed her belief and those who They shall not call upon any other god with God, nor shall they kill any soul which God has forbidden, except in a just manner, nor shall they commit adultery. And whoever does that shall incur sins.

The ‌Messenger ​of ​Allah ‌(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "A servant's faith does not grow strong until his heart grows strong, and his heart does not grow strong until his tongue grows strong. And he will not enter Paradise who The neighbor is not safe from his evil.” (Ahmad 13048, Tabarani No. 10401)

He ​is ​not ‌safe ‌from harm.” And in a narration by Muslim: He who does not protect his neighbor from his harms will not enter Paradise. (Al-Bukhari 6016, Muslim 181)

The ​Messenger ​of ‌God, ​may God bless him and grant him peace, said: A neighbor should not prevent his neighbor from building wood on his wall. Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, said: Why should I send you to the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace?

The ​Prophet, ​may ​God ‌bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day should be kind to his neighbor, and whoever believes in God and the Last Day should be kind to his guest, and whoever believes in God and the Last Day should be kind to his guest.” Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.” (Muslim No. 185, some words of Bukhari)

On ‌the ​authority ‌of ‌Abdullah bin Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The best companions in the sight of God Almighty are the best to their companion and the best Neighbors, in the sight of God Almighty, are the best to their neighbors. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, who said it was a good hadith.)

A ‌man ​said ‌to ​the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “How will I know whether I have done good or evil?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “When you hear your neighbor saying that you have done a good deed, Then you have done (really) well.
