Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith #624
Hadith #624
On the authority of Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - {that the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “And in the rikaz: the fifth.”} Agreed upon 1.1 - Sahih. Narrated by Al-Bukhari ( 1499), and Muslim (1710), and it is complete: “The stones were wounded by Jabbar, the well is Jabbar, the mineral is Jabbar, and in the five ores.” Ibn al-Atheer said in “Al-Nihayah” (2/258): “The ores, according to the people of Hijaz, are the treasures of pre-Islamic times.” Buried in the ground. Among the people of Iraq: minerals, and the two sayings are tolerated by the language; Because both of them are piled up in the ground. That is, fixed. It is said: He piled it up one by one if he buried it, and the man piled it down when he found the pile. The hadith only came in the first interpretation, which is the pre-Islamic treasure, but it included a fifth due to its great benefit and the ease of taking it. It was mentioned in “Musnad Ahmad” in some of the chains of this hadith: “and in the five pillars” as if it were the plural of a pillar or "Rikaza", "Al-Rikaza" and "Al-Rakaza": a piece of the earth's jewels in which it is concentrated. The plural of "Rikaza" is "Rikaz".
