حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ - رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي حَنِيفَةَ هُوَ ابْنُ جَابِرٍ - عَنْ وَعْلَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَثَّابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ بَاتَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ حِجَابٌ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ» . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: فِي إِسْنَادِهِ نَظَرٌ
Muhammad ibn Al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Salim ibn Nuh narrated to us, saying: Omar - a man from Banu Hanifa, who is Ibn Jabir - narrated to us, on the authority of Wa’alah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Wathhab, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Ali, on the authority of his father, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “Whoever spends the night on the back of A house over which there is no veil has been absolved of liability.” Abu Abdullah said: There is some consideration in its chain of transmission.
