سُئل عن الرجل الذي يطلق زوجته ثم يرجعها ولا يترك شهودًا على رجوعه، فقال: عليه أن يترك شهودًا على طلاقها ورجوعها. رواه أبو داود بسند موقوف، وسنده صحيح. [1186] وروى الإمام البيهقي في هذا الكلام: «سُئل عمران بن الحسين (رضي الله عنه) عن الرجل الذي يطلق زوجته ثم يرجعها ولا يترك شهودًا على رجوعه». فقال: «ليست هذه سنة، بل عليه أن يترك شهودًا على رجوعه». وأضاف الطبراني في رواية أخرى أنه عليه أن يستغفر الله.
He was asked about the person who divorces and takes back his wife and does not leave any witnesses to his return. He said, He should leave witnesses to his wife’s divorce and her return; Abu Dawud narrated it with a Mawquf chain of transmission, and its chain of transmission is sahih. [1186]\nImam Bayhaqi narrated in these words: ‘Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the person who divorces his wife and takes her back but does not leave any witnesses to his return.’\nThen he said: ‘This is not the Sunnah. Rather, he should leave any witnesses to his return.’ At-Tabarani added in another narration that he should seek forgiveness from Allah.
