Hadith #44563
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السِّوَاكُ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ‏.‏
Affan told us, he said, Hammad bin Salamah told us, he said Ibn Abi Atiq told us, on the authority of his father, he said that Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The siwak is a cleansing of the mouth, pleasing to the Lord.
