حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مَنَّاحٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جَنَازَةً مُقْبِلَةً فَلَمَّا رَآهَا قَامَ وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُهُ.
Abdullah narrated to us, Al-Hakam bin Musa Abu Salih narrated to me, Saeed bin Maslamah narrated to us, on the authority of Ismail bin Umayyah, on the authority of Musa bin Imran. Ibn Manah, on the authority of Aban Ibn Uthman, may God be pleased with him, that he saw a funeral coming, and when he saw it, he got up and said, “I saw Uthman doing He told me that he saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, doing it.
