حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، قَالَ أَمَرَنِي عَلِيٌّ أَنْ أَمْسَحَ، عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ.
Ibn al-Ashja`i told us, my father told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abdah ibn Abi Lubabah, on the authority of al-Qasim ibn Mukhaimrah, on the authority of Shurayh ibn Hani, he said, Ali ordered me to wipe over the socks.
