Hadith #44969
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ.
Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ayyub ibn Musa, on the authority of Nabih ibn Wahb, on the authority of Aban ibn Uthman, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of Uthman, informing the Prophet of May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said: A person in ihram may not marry or be engaged.
