حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا‏.‏
Abu Sa`id, the client of Banu Hashim, told us: Israel told us, Abu Ishaq told us, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ali, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace May God bless him and grant him peace, when he seeks refuge for a sick person, he says, “Remove the affliction, Lord of the people. Heal, You are the Healer.” There is no cure except Your healing, a cure that does not depart. Illness
