Hadith #45158
Bakr bin Issa Al-Rasibi told us, Omar bin Al-Fadl told us, on the authority of Nu’aym bin Yazid, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, he said The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered me to bring him a plate on which he would write what his nation would not go astray after him. He said, “I was afraid that I would miss it.” He himself said, “I said, ‘Indeed, I memorize and understand.’ He said, ‘I recommend prayer and zakat,’ and your right hands do not possess it.”
