حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ الْإِيَامِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَقَالَ زُبَيْدٌ مَرَّةً أُرَاهُ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَى غَيْرِ وَجْهِ الشَّكِّ و قَالَ يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
Waki` narrated to us, Sufyan and Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Zubaid al-Ayami, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila, on the authority of Omar, May God be pleased with him. He said: The prayer of a journey is two rak’ahs, the Eid al-Adha prayer is two rak’ahs, the Fitr prayer is two rak’ahs, and the Friday prayer is two rak’ahs. Completely, without limitation, according to the words of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. Sufyan said, and Zubaid once said, “I see it on the authority of Omar.” Abd al-Rahman said without any doubt, and Yazid said, meaning Ibn Harun Ibn Abi Laila. He said: I heard Omar, may God be pleased with him.
