حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ، رُوَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَايَ، وَوَعَاهُ، قَلْبِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ صَالِحُهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِصَالِحِهِمْ وَشِرَارُهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِشِرَارِهِمْ.
Abdullah told us, Muhammad bin Sulaiman told me, Luwayn, Muhammad bin Jabir told us, on the authority of Abdul Malik bin Umair, on the authority of Amara bin, Ruwayba, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said: My ears heard it, and my heart understood it, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace People follow Quraysh, their good ones follow their good ones, and their evil ones follow their evil ones.
