Hadith #45301
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ جَلَدَ شَرَاحَةَ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَرَجَمَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ أَجْلِدُهَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَأَرْجُمُهَا بِسُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Salamah ibn Kuhayl, on the authority of al-Shu`bi, that Ali, may God be pleased with him, flogged a cutlet on a Thursday. He stoned her on Friday and said, “I will flog her according to the Book of God, and I will stone her according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.”
