Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45846

He said, so I said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, has decided to go to you.” So she stood up and took out two dresses with her, and said: These are two garments that I brought for my brother Hamzah. I was informed of his death, so we shrouded him in them. He said, “We brought the two garments to be shrouded in them.” Hamza, then behold, next to him was a man from the Ansar who had been killed, and what had been done to him had been done to him as was done to Hamza. He said, “We found it shameful and shameful to shroud Hamza is in two garments, and Al-Ansari has no shroud. So we said: Hamza has a garment and the Ansari has a garment.
