حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ خَطَبَنَا عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا وَبَعْدَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ.
Abdullah told us, Muhammad bin Sulaiman told me, Luwayn Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Zirr, on the authority of Abu Juhayfah, he said he addressed us Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: Shall I not inform you of the best of this nation after its Prophet, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him? Then he said Shall I not inform you of the best of this nation after its Prophet and after Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him? Omar said.
