Hadith #45338
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوَتْرَ.
Ali bin Bahr narrated to us, Issa bin Yunus narrated to us, Zakaria narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Asim bin Damra, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “O people of the Qur’an, perform the Witr prayer, for God Almighty is the Witr prayer and loves the Witr prayer.”
