Hadith #45365
Mansour bin Wardan Al-Asadi told us, Ali bin Abdul-Ala told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Al-Bakhtari, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. On his authority, he said, when this verse was revealed: “And for God is the obligation of the people to perform the Hajj to the House, whoever is able to make a way to it.” They said, “O Messenger of God, should I fulfill all A year, so he remained silent. They said, “Should I do it every year?” so he remained silent. He said, “Then they said, “Should I do it every year?” He said, “No.” And if I had said, “Yes, it would have been obligatory,” so God Almighty revealed {O O you who have believed, do not ask about things that, if they were made known to you, would displease you, until the end of the verse.
