حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَنْ الْمَسْحِ فَقَالَتْ ائْتِ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِذَلِكَ مِنِّي قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَمْسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثًا.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا حَجَّاجٌ رَفَعَهُ.
Abu Muawiyah told us, Al-A’mash told us, on the authority of Al-Hakam, on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Mukhaymrah, on the authority of Shurayh bin Hani, he said, I asked Aisha Radi God told her about wiping, so she said, “Come to Ali, may God be pleased with him, for he is more knowledgeable about that than me.” He said, “So I went to Ali, may God be pleased with him.” So I asked him about wiping over the socks, and he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to command us to wipe over the socks day and night.” And the traveler gets three. Yazid told us, Hajjaj told us, he raised it.
