Hadith #45401
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، وَأَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُعَقِّبُ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ أُتِيَ عَلِيٌّ بِمَوْلَاةٍ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ مُحْصَنَةٍ قَدْ فَجَرَتْ قَالَ فَضَرَبَهَا مِائَةً ثُمَّ رَجَمَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ جَلَدْتُهَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَرَجَمْتُهَا بِسُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Hushaym told us, and Abu Ibrahim Al-Muqaqib told us, on the authority of Hushaym, Husayn told us, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, he said: Ali was given a loyalty to Sa’id ibn Qays. A chaste woman had committed adultery. He said: He struck her a hundred times, then stoned her. Then he said: I flogged her according to the Book of God, and I stoned her according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May peace and blessings be upon him
