Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45437
Hadith #45437
Yazid told us, Hisham told us, on the authority of Muhammad, on the authority of Ubaidah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. He said, “It is forbidden to wear purple robes, and to wear Al-Qasi, and the gold ring. Muhammad said, “I mentioned that to my brother Yahya bin Sirin, and he said, ‘Have you not heard this? Yes, and the kerchief of the brocade.’”
