Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #44610

Abu Al-Mughirah narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman bin Jubayr bin Nufayr narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Harith bin Muawiyah Al-Kindi, that He rode to Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, asking him about three things. He said, “So he came to Medina, and Omar, may God be pleased with him, asked him what I will introduce you. He said, “To ask you about three circumstances.” He said, “And what are they?” He said, “Perhaps the woman and I were in a narrow building, so you would attend the prayer. If I prayed She and I were in my shoes, and if she prayed behind me, she left the building. Omar said, “You cover between you and her with a dress, then you pray in your shoes.” If you wish, and about the two rak’ahs after the afternoon prayer. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade me from them. He said, and about the stories, for they wanted me to Stories. He said, “Whatever you want,” as if he did not like to be prevented. He said, “I just wanted to end with what you said.” He said, “I fear for you.” Cut and rise above them in yourself, then cut and rise until you imagine that you are above them like a chandelier, so God places you beneath them. Their feet on the Day of Resurrection will be equal to that.
