Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45449
Hadith #45449
Yahya told us, Sa’id bin Abi Arouba told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Qais bin Abbad, he said, Al-Ashtar and I set off to Ali. May God be pleased with him. So we said: Has the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entrusted you with anything that he did not entrust to people in general? He said: No. Except for what is in this book of mine. He said, and a book was in the closet of his sword. And behold, therein were the believers’ blood requited, and they were one hand against those other than them, and they strive. The least of their obligations is that no believer should be killed in exchange for an unbeliever, nor should any person in his covenant be killed, whoever incites an infidel or harbors an infidel, upon him is the curse of God. And the angels and all people.
