Hadith #45451
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ أَبِي، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ وَلْيُقَلْ لَهُ يَرْحَمُكُمْ اللَّهُ وَلْيَقُلْ هُوَ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
Yahya told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Laila, my brother told me, on the authority of my father, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: If If one of you sneezes, let him say, “Thank God for everything,” and say, “May God have mercy on you,” and say, “May God guide you and put your mind at ease.” So I told him, on the authority of Abu Ayyub, that Ali, may God be pleased with him, said.
