حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى كُلِّ أَثَرِ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلَّا الْفَجْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ.
Waki` and Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Asim ibn Damrah, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prays two rak’ahs after every obligatory prayer, except Fajr and Asr.
