Hadith #45467
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَأَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ كُنْتُ أَرَى أَنَّ بَاطِنَ، الْقَدَمَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالْمَسْحِ مِنْ ظَاهِرِهِمَا حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ ظَاهِرَهُمَا.
Abdullah narrated to us, Ishaq bin Ismail narrated to us, and Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, they said, Waki’ narrated to us, Al-A’mash narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abd Khair, on the authority of Ali, said: I was of the opinion that the inside of the feet was more deserving of wiping than the outside of them, until I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace, wiping their backs.
