حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شِهَابُ بْنُ خِرَاشٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا‏.‏
Abdullah told us, Abu Salih Al-Hakam bin Musa told us, Shihab bin Kharash told us, Yunus bin Khabab told me, on the authority of Al-Musayyab bin Abd Khair, on the authority of Abd Khair, he said: I heard Ali, may God be pleased with him, saying that the best of this nation after its Prophet was Abu Bakr, then Omar. May God be pleased with them
