حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْجَنَازَةِ فَقُمْنَا ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَجَلَسْنَا.
Waki` narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, on the authority of Masoud ibn al-Hakam, on the authority of Ali, who said that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, rose He greeted the funeral and we stood up, then he sat down and we sat down.
